In March/April 2017 Nomad skateboards team members went to Tenerife for a few days to hit the street spots besides the newly built skatepark in the capital Santa Cruz. NOMAD SKATEBOARDS y KRID COLLECTIVE llevan colaborando años, el resultado ha quedado plasmado en varias colecciones y una gran amistad. Este verano presentan un nuevo proyecto en conjunto: NOMAD NORTH BOUND!
NORTH BOUND empezó como un proyecto personal de Cristoph Zedler con la intención de emprender un viaje en furgoneta de su casa en Basel, Suiza, hacia el norte a Arvidsjaur, Suecia, donde se quedaría durante un mes trabajando en Wildact Adventure Tours antes de volver a casa. Con el objetivo de difundir el amor por el arte y el skateboarding, y con muchos kilómetros por delante, pensaron que sería buena idea parar en varias ciudades para exhibir colaboraciones espontáneas con tiendas y asociaciones de Skate.
“Nomad studio” está equipado con una instalación de serigrafía móvil para impresión directa en tablas de Skate y textil. Todos los enamorados del arte, diseño y del Skate tendrán la oportunidad de ver el proceso de diseño e impresión in-situ, conocer a Chris, y por supuesto compartir unos tragos y sesiones con él.
Chris colaborará con toda la gente que encuentre durante este viaje, diseñando desde un concepto original hasta su materialización en tablas y camisetas, creando una experiencia inolvidable. Adicionalmente van a regalar material durante cada parada, y tendrás la oportunidad de ganar una tabla única que será diseñada e impresa durante todo el viaje.
La aventura será documentada para hacerte partícipe de la experiencia a través de su página web y perfiles de Facebook, Instagram y Twitter.
