skatedeluxe & adidas Skateboarding | Zaragoza 3ST.004

To celebrate the release of the new Boost™ infused adidas 3ST.004 performance skate shoes, we took joint skatedeluxe and adidas Skateboarding riders Martin Sandberg, Ike Fromme, Amiel Kornicki, Sascha Scharf, Kevin Ozcan & Tim Janke to Zaragoza.

Barcelona, Madrid and Valencia are the go-to cities in Spain when it comes to skateboarding. The name Zaragoza rarely comes up, although it is Spain's fifth largest city.
Maybe it’s because us skateboarders prefer to stay in a familiar environment simply out of convenience?

Something that’s unknown and new is by no means bad – as shown by the diversity of Zaragoza's spots and the new 3ST.004 from adidas Skateboarding. The new unconventional design, combined with the progressive Boost™ technology, was immediately appreciated by our crew. If you're open to something new, take a closer look at the adidas 3ST.004 and put Zaragoza on your bucket list for your next trip.

Enjoy below an awesome photo gallery!

adidas Skateboarding x Japanese Skateboard Brand, Evisen

adidas Skateboarding x Japanese Skateboard Brand, Evisen

adidas Skateboarding reveals its latest capsule collection with Tokyo-based skate brand, Evisen. A curated clash of east meets west, the collaborative effort debuts a strong collection of essential silhouettes for any season, while incorporating Japanese design details with street and sportswear cues. The 5-piece apparel and footwear collection is designed with functionality and practicality built into each product.

“Evisen is a skateboarding brand that I started in 2011 with my close friends,” explains Evisen founder, Katsumi Minami. “Our style is a combination of traditional Japanese imagery and skateboarding. All of the team are rare characters, they’re all interesting in their own way, lifestyle as well as skateboarding. For the collaboration with adidas, our art director’s idea was create a logo from sampling sake labels. The whole team loves drinking sake.”

Co-created with adidas Skateboarding and Evisen, the capsule’s apparel offering includes a heavyweight fleece crewneck, a vibrant cotton tee with sleeve graphics, a woven pique fabric jersey with a water repellent finish, a nylon relaxed fit track pant, and a lightweight, water repellent jacket.

The collection will also feature a custom 3MC shoe, redesign to align with the aesthetics of the Tokyo-based board brand. The Evisen 3MC features a durable leather upper constructed to withstand skate-related abrasion and a vulcanized rubber HexFlex outsole that follows the foot’s natural movement. The clean and minimalistic sneaker design comes in an all white colorway paired back with subtle red and yellow detailing.
