Tiago Lemos | Welcome To Primitive Skate

“Tiago Lemos first came up on my radar through Carlos Ribeiro back when we first started Primitive Skate. Carlos would always talk about his friend back home who was getting so good at skating and had next level ability but didn’t even realize how good he was getting. When I went on the first “We Are Blood” trip and saw Tiago skate first hand, I put it together that this was the guy that Carlos was talking about, and I immediately saw what he meant. When I’m stood next to Tiago I’m the same size as him, but as soon as he steps on the board it’s almost like he turns into the Hulk: he’s bigger, stronger, faster. When he gets to a spot he’ll start methodically breaking it down, he starts with his normal tricks and builds on them until all of a sudden he’s rolling away from the most fucked up trick, and he does that every day, I’ve never seen anything like it. I’m tripping that Tiago is joining the squad, it’s a huge honor to make it official that Tiago Lemos skates for Primitive!” - Paul Rodriguez

Next Saturday, June 23rd , Nike presents its new video project: Nike SB Barcelona. This Nike SB project pays tribute to the members of its team who live or spend seasons in La Ciudad Condal, one of the most skated cities in the world.

Produced and edited by Enrique Mayor and Henner Figuereido during the winter/spring of 2018, the project includes local legends such as Javi Sarmiento and Dani Lebron, together with Andrew Green, Adrian Del Campo, Fran Molina, Pedro Attenborough, Marek Zaprazny, Erik Peterson, Killian Zehnder, Michael Sommer, Shajem Willems, Wieger Van Wageningen, Youness Amrani, Max Geronzi, Dirdik Galaso, Roman Lisivka, Luy Pa Sin, Sixsas, Pierre Leze, Raul Valencia.

The Premier event will take place at the Red Fish, starting at 10pm where Nike SB joins forces with the creative women collective Girls On Choice to celebrate the Sant Joan festivities in La Barceloneta.

The launch of Nike SB Barcelona, coincides with the amateur skateboarding competition Damn Am, presented by Skatepark of Tampa (SPoT) and Nike SB that will take place from June 22nd to 24th at Skate Agora. On the evening of June 23th, all competitors and attendees of the sports event are invited to celebrate the launch of the Nike SB Barcelona video.

Primitive Skateboarding | "Never" video

Primitive Skateboarding just dropped a 30 mins lenght video edit “Never”, featuring Paul Rodriguez, Diego Najera, Wade Desarmo, Nick Tucker, Devine Calloway, Carlos Ribeiro, Trent McClung, Brian Peacock, Bastien Salabanzi, Franky Villani, Robert Neal, Marek Zaprazny and Roman Lisivka. The majority of “Never” was filmed over the course of three months on filming trips to Athens, Paris and Shanghai with some additional footage that needed to see the light of day!
