Carhartt WIP Skateboarding | Galleria Continua - Concrete Cathedral

Carhartt WIP Skateboarding | Galleria Continua - Concrete Cathedral

Carhartt WIP Skateboarding has collaborated with renowned international art institution Galleria Continua. The project is centered around a new, experimental skate space at the gallery’s location in Boissy-le-Châtel, an hour east of the French capital. The snake run was created by MBL architects and Bureau D. Apheceix, using a series of free-form, artisanal techniques that allows the structure to blend in with its surrounding landscape. Over several visits, the run was skated by the Carhartt WIP skate team, who offered their own, unique interpretations of this concrete structure. Resulting here a series of images captured by Maxime Verret also featured in our large-scale free publication CONCRETE CATHEDRAL (available in Carhartt WIP Stores) and also a short film by Romain Batard, online now.

Featuring the Carhartt WIP Skateboard team: Felipe Bartolomé, Joseph Biais, Igor Fardin, Denis Lynn, Maité Steenhoudt, Rémy Taveira, Pietro Tirelli, Sylvain Tognelli & Armand Vaucher

Kingdom For A Cooler | Vans Europe

Kingdom For A Cooler | Vans Europe

Mid-February is always a difficult time to pick a destination for a skate trip in Europe due to the winter. This year the Vans Europe skate team, along with some of the Vans Germany team, decided to fly across the Mediterranean and check out the spots that the Kingdom of Morocco had to offer. As if they knew that this would be the last time they could travel together as they're used to for a while, the crew blazed through the beautiful country without leaving a spot untouched. While chasing the sun and the warmth from Tangier all the way down to Agadir, there was no shortage of laughs, hi-jinx and good times. Featuring: Joscha Aicher, Axel Cruysberghs, Jan Hoffman, Flo Marfaing, Joseph Biais, Marko Kada, Dustin Dollin, Victor Pellegrin, Alexey Krasniy, Yeelen Moens, Oscar Candon, Chris Pfanner, Kalle Wiehn, Pepe Tirelli & Val Bauer.

SKATEDELUXE | HAMBURG

SKATEDELUXE | HAMBURG

The last few months have been one hell of a ride. Border shutdowns, travel restrictions, not being able to go out and skate with friends, not being able to enjoy the sudden excess urban skate spots or the spontaneity and creativity of the city. After things in Germany relaxed somewhat at the end of June, skatedeluxe took the opportunity to bring the team together and meet up in the city of Hamburg.

Since borders were still shut, there was no way to get into Germany without having to quarantine. So the crew consisted of Denny Pham, Ike Fromme, Sascha Scharf, Tim Janke, and local Willow Voges Fernandes accompanied by lensmen Dan Schulz and Dennis Scholz capturing it all on camera.
