Simple Skateboarding Links Daniel King and Ed Templeton’s Legacy with Kyiv’s New Generation
Simple Skateboarding presents “Ukraine Youth: Between Days”, a powerful tribute to Daniel King, created in dialogue with the legacy of Ed Templeton. Shot in Kyiv, the video captures a new generation of skateboarders—Artem Slepets, Mykyta Kryvoruchko, Mykyta Blodzhyk and Oleksandr Smirnov—through a raw and intimate lens. Directed by Oles Pasichnyk, with cinematography by Oleksandr Shaporynskyi and sound by Davyd Riabinin, the project bridges the original 2015 photobook with today’s skate scene, while supporting the Voices of Children Foundation. A meaningful piece where skateboarding, photography and legacy intersect.
