SILENT RIDER is a cinematic skateboarding short film. Set in the center of Tokyo at the crack of dawn, the film follows a street skater as he explores a momentary silence of the metropolis. While most people are busy getting ready for another work day, the skater glides freely through the streets of Tokyo, unburdened by the conventional demands of everyday life, and indifferent to the spatial power structure that confines citizens’ uses of the city.
